Second EViR Chatter Session – Interdisciplinarity
These informal EViR chatter meetings provide members with the space and opportunity to discuss issues that do not require a formal meeting or agenda. They are designed to allow members to meet with a greater degree of spontaneity and flexibility and without the need to wait until a roundtable meeting to address any topics of interest.
This event will focus on Interdisciplinarity: with the push for more and more research to cross disciplines, how do funders decide what is in their remit? What is on the edge? And what falls out and into a different funder? How do funders work together to promote interdisciplinarity without losing track of their purpose or without research falling through the funding gaps. This is something funders grapple with even within the context of their own schemes, and worth discussing in relation both to topics and methodological skills sets/research paradigms.
This meeting is for EViR members only, please contact the secretariat if you would like to discuss your membership.
