Implementing a Threaded Publication Model: a reflection on progress
Dr Cat Chatfield is the Editor in Chief of the NIHR Journals Library and Director of Health Services Research (HSR) UK, based at the Nuffield Trust in London. Cat trained as a doctor in Brighton and London, was a Darzi clinical leadership fellow, and practised as a GP before moving to full-time editorial work at The BMJ.
Her main interest is in supporting and connecting producers and users of research to generate real-world service improvement.
The Chatter session will focus on the development and implementation of the NIHR Journals Library’s new Threaded Publication Model, looking at the successes and challenges faced as part of its mission to add value and avoid waste in health research.
