6th EViR Chatter Session – Greener Conferences Guidance
These informal chatter meetings provide members with the space and opportunity to discuss issues that do not require a formal meeting or agenda. They are designed to allow members to meet with a greater degree of spontaneity and flexibility and without the need to wait until a roundtable meeting to address any topics of interest.

This session focuses on Greener Conference Practices. The EViR sustainability working group has developed guidance to facilitate sustainable practices in conferences organised by EViR and its members. The key goal is to reduce the carbon footprint and minimise waste generation by promoting eco-friendly practices. Some of the strategies include offering virtual attendance options, using reusable materials, and making sustainable catering choices.
